hi,
I am not able to perform the connectivity between RFC and R3
can any body tell me how to do it?
Thanks !
Raghvendra
Hi,
I assume, ur connecting WAS to R/3
1) Goto transaction SM59.
2) select R/3 Connections and then click Create.
3) Here enter RFC connection name. then in the type select 3 - (connection to R/3 system).
4 Under the 'technical settings' tab enter the backend to which you want to connect to.
5. Under the 'logon/security' tab you have the enter the backend id and password of the user who will log from the client.
6. Save.
7. Press the 'Remote logon' button present on the top of the screen to ensure that the user can get into the backend. You should be able to see the main page of your backend

Hi,
Now Passwords are case sensitive and min 8 chars. Pls check on this.
Mention the IP Address instead of the hostname.
