Hi,
When ever u make any changes to mapping and you wish to transport those changes from DEV to QTY menas , you can Export that mapping object alone and you can reflect that itself in QTY by following the normal File system Export

No transport requests like abap.
U can do it using file system transport of XI.
U can then select individual objects like mapping in IR.

Hi,
there are no transport request created in XI for java object.
U can export the changes either using File transport method or using CMS transport method.
Two types of transport mechanism are used in PI.
File transport method.
CMS transport method.
File transport method:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a8/5e56006c17e748a68bb3843ed5aab8/frameset.htm
go to tools->export-> select CMSor FTp-> select either whole SWCV,Namepace or individual object (here u select ur mapping name)-> finish -> gives u .tpz file
go to tools-> import that .tpz file in IR and ID.
CMS transport method:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a8/5e56006c17e748a68bb3843ed5aab8/frameset.htm
CMS for SAP Exchange Infrastructure:
How to handle Xi with CMS:
Configuration of CMS in Central NWDI & SLD to transport XI objects:
/people/praveen.mayalur/blog/2007/05/31/configuration-of-cms-in-central-nwdi-sld-to-transport-xi-objects
XI Software Logistics Solution III: CMS:
/people/sap.india5/blog/2005/11/28/xi-software-logistics-solution-iii-cms
In ID u need to change the communication parameters manually.
