the reconciliation account filed is disabled????????????

Hello All

I am working with ECC6.0

I am trying to create customer (sold to party) I went to company code data I found the reconciliation account filed is disabled so I went to the account group layout I found he filed status is required but still it is disabled

it is done using the IMG in :

Define Screen Layout per Activity (Customers)

Hi,

Go to IMG, SPRO - Cross-Application Components - SAP Business Partner - Business Partner - Basic Settings - Field Groupings - Configure Field Attributes.

Try making your changes here, i am sure you can make the reconciliation accnt required here and it will surely work.

hi,

just check these step by step:

1) Go to OBD2

2) select the proper account that you are using to create customer master

3) select company code data

4) now you will a list of field selections with radio buttons.

5) check if its marked as suppressed.. if not.. make it as required.

6) Important is save the changes.

now create your customer from the begining again.

Hi

1st go to ovt0 and if you have seen there it is reqd then go to OBD2.check the account group status there. and is this is the your own account group. or standard account group 0001 you are using?

I tried the two Tcodes and it is the same, the filed is required but disabled when creating

It is the standard account group
