EH&S: Phrase load

I exported phrases from TEST system and am attempting to import to PROD system.

When importing phrase file using CG31, I get the following error:

'Phrase key <...> is not within valid range'

The number range is defined as follows:

0I 100000000000000 899999999999999 100000000000704

0E A ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ X

The phrase libraries are defined in TCG61 as follows:

NUMRNGE NUMINTI NUMINTE

ESN_PHRID 0I 0E

What is missing?

Hi,

From your explanation, I believe the file which you are uploading has the same phrase keys as in production system.

Check the file and production system.

Please comeback if my answer is wrong.

The problem occured because some custom phrases were created in TEST (i.e.: 100...). I do an phrase export/import. On the import side the phrase keys starting by 1000... are not part of external number range, causing the error. Had to temporarily change the external number range to load successfully.

have you got any documentation about CG31?

I don't know what's the input file format -that's the most important question for me to solve now-
