creating an XSD

Hi,

I am having trouble creating an XSD based on a repository. I tryed using Access but that did'nt work for qualified tables.

Can anyone direct me to detailed instructions on how to create an XSD based on MDM repository?

Please refer to How to Generate XSD Schemas from Existing MDM 5.5 Repositories under the HOW-TO guides of MDM.

I found my problem - the xml repository file should be without spaces between parts of the file name!

I followed the exact orders in the pdf. I unzipped xomLite45.zip and followed the other instructions. Still this is the message I get.

I tryed using the how to guide using the xomLite45. When running it in the cmd I received a message:

Usage: For XSD generation:

java -jar xomLite45 Inputfile.xml

I tryed this syntax and then received a message:

Unable to access jarfile xomLite45.

I wrote the command line when i was in the root of the xomLite45.

Can anyone help me????

Tal,

First you have to download the jar files for Xmolite45 tool then you will be able to convert repository XSD. otherwise it will give you error. and jar files and repository xml should be in same folder. read the pdf carefully.

Hi Tan,

For XSD creation of MDM repository,you need a software called Xomlite45.jar. This jar file along with Java runtime environment will help you create an XSD of an MDM rep.

Refer the document given to know the step wise procedure to carry on this operation.
