You can use eCATT and BDC instead of that. QTP also can be used to upload the data.

LSMW is the main tool to upload the Master data from legacy data to SAP. Apart from LSMW, another tools are ,

1 )BDC - batch data communication is another tool ,

2) BAPI - It a is another tool to transfer the data in online only

3) XI - when the business process is more complex XI is used

hi,

we can also use the following :

1) BDC : The BDC can transfer data from one SAP System to another SAP System or can transfer data from non-SAP System to SAP System too. To transfer data BDC uses normal transaction codes. Two methods are provided to BDC to do this work. a) classical method or session method b) CALL TRANSACTION
