Dear Friends.
I am in the process of implementation Of heterogenous server application.
The CI is on AIX 5.3 64 Bits, with DB2 8.2 Fix 15
I will install Aplication Server Heterogeneous Windows Windows 2003 R2 64 Bits.
For the execution. I have the following premises.
By security policies, I will not be able to use SAMBA. According to our internal audit, I will be able to use Microsoft's Services For UNIX.
Some of you has worked with Microsoft's Services For UNIX to make the implementation
That recommendations I will have to consider.
Thanks for you valuable help.

This should be fairly straightforward. Microsoft's Services For UNIX has an NFS client so you should be able mount the remote directory to a local directory (it can be done to a drive letter or a UNC path). On server side, you will have to add the windows box to the exports file and allow read/write access.
Hope that helps.

Dear Friend.
Could help analisys following paragraph Note 680617.
On UNIX, release the /usr/sap directory as SAPMNT. To do
this, use SAMBA or a comparable tool. The user who is performing the installation on the Windows host as well as the <sapsid>adm and SAPService<SAPSID> Windows users created during the installation must have read and write authorization on this share directory and its subdirectories.
Much work costs to understand it to me.
