HI,
CAN U TELL ME WHY WE NEED TO DO SLDCHECK
IN CASE OF PROXY AND WHY NOT IN CASE OF
SENDER IDOC
Hi,
for proxy your business system needs to be attached to the SAP XI in the landscapte. XI needs to identify your SAP system as one of the application system in XI ( you do this config through Transactiob SXMB_ADM where you deifne your SAP system as application system )
In case of IDoc the data flow happens through PORT (RFC destination ) .

Hi,
Normally when we check the SLDCHECK means it wil check the SLD connection is correcly running or not.
That time it will execute the following RFC's
LCRSAPRFC
The RFC destination LCRSAPRFC is required for the connection to the System Landscape Directory (SLD). It is used to read the exchange profile.
SAPSLDAPI
The RFC destination SAPSLDAPI is required for the connection to the SLD. It is used by the ABAP API.

Hi,
I can say for this is because to check the connection between the SAP R/3 and the XI's SLD
If u observer while activating the proxies in SAP R/3, we wil create the business system( SAP R/3's) as local integration server which points to the XI.
So thats why we will check the connection check
