Hi all,
What is consignment stock? can anybody help?
Dear Khaizar,
It is vendor's stock kept in your storage location. It is not valuated till it is drawn into your own stock.
Payments are made against the material cinsumed at regular intervals to vendor.
If you are satisfied, pl award marks.

Hi!
Consignment scenario is where you keep your goods at Customer place and you own them. In the system in the MMBE the stock is showed as Consignemnt stock. Until the customer sells the stock will not get reduced.
And for this the good example is the Department stores where youcan see for certain products stock will be kept and they wont charge the owner of the shop.If any sales takes place then they charge him. Once the period is over then they take away the remained products which is Consignment Pick-up
Hope it clarify you
regards

Consignment is when we deliver goods to the Customer
but till he sells the stock the ownership of the same lies with us.
Once he sells the "Consignment Stock" then we invoice him for the stock he sold out of congnment stock.
The Process:
Consignment Fill-Up (Send Goods to Cust.)
Consignment Issue (Invoice for the goods sold)
Consignment Pick-Up - return of unsold stock
Consignment Returns - Returns from the stock he sold.
Hope it helps
Reward if helps
Rgds
