Credit control area visibility

Hi,

In customer account no.0001,(SP),credit control area field is maintained as optional entry.

After being an optional entry,this field is not visible in create and change mode (XD01 and XD02)but only visible in display mode i.e.XD03 of customer master.

why could be reason for such responses?

Please guide.

Activate in OB20 tcode.
