Hi Rakhi,

I would recommend you to refer SRM210 document to get a good understanding about SRM as a whole.

Neverthless please find below some precise answers to your questions :

1. EBP is used by user, Purchaser and even Vendor (in case SUS is enabled)

2. RFC is remote function call. This is used to establish remote connection between two logical systems, in this case R/3 & SRM.You have to define RFC destinations in both the systems using SM59 txn.

3. Generally OCI compliant catalogs are used or u can upload catalogs using CSV file.

5. The purpose of work flows in any of the system whether it is SRM or R/3 is to exercise control so that nobody can deviate from company's standard practises.

7. R/3 enterprise structure is very exhaustive in comparison to SRM org. structure. You create a Co.code, Purchasing org and Purchasing group in SRM org structure and assign users to these org. sturctures. You don't create Controlling area, plant, storage location etc in SRM.

8. The basic difference between MM & SRM is SRM deals with Purchase to Pay cycle where as MM deals also in Inventory Management along with purchase to pay.

Strategic sourcing (Bidding & Live Auction) is the major advantage of SRM.

10. SYS is an attribute among the list of attributes which you maintain in the org structure. This is meant for Logical system.

Hope this makes you more clear and helps in your understanding. CLarifications are welcome.

Award points for helpful answers.

Rgds,

Teja
