How to capture Incoming Certificate number externally

Former Member

Dear Experts

Can any body suggest the way to capture the actual number

of Vendor's test certificate.

We have done all the relevant settings for the Vendor's certificate receipt in QM.

With the settings, while doing GR system is warning about checking the certificate receipt. If we put "Yes" or "No" for the certificate receipt, system gives a number to the certificate from the defined internal number range.

We tried with external number range but not getting any POP UP to enter the certificate number.

We want to capture the actual test certificate number.

If anybody has a solution for this, pl suggest.

Regards

Prasad

Hi,

Have you define the Number range for external numbering.

In T code SNUM / SNRO , select object QCERT_PUR and define the number range for external and try.

I am not sure , whether we can use external numbering , because For the certificate number field , F1 SAP help says

" Number of the quality certificate that is allocated internally, when the data record is created ".

Chech whether , you can use field "Vendor batch " field if you are not using the same.

Thanks Arun

I shall try and do the settings suggested by you and will get back to you.

Can't we use the field "short text" while doing MIGO to enter the certificate number if at all it has to enter manually?
