Hi experts

while creating delivery against sales return, if QM is activated for the material then system is not allowing us to create return delivery.we are getting error message,how to solve this.

Dear Sandeep,

Is your material handled in datches? If so then try putting the same batch no in VL01N made while return delivery. Here same means the number which was used during original VL01N while despatching the material.

It may happen that QM view in active for sending material out but while bringing material from outside, you are trying to assign batch from existing stock so it is not allowing.

Please check. Also see that you have activated 06 inspection type in material master QM view.

Hello Sandeep,

Have you get rid of this error 'L9528' : "Material ABCD PLANTA cannot be used in inbound delivery because QM is active"

I am creating the inbound delivery and got this error.

Have you create a Notification before create the return sales order or not?

what is the error message displayed?

Dear Sandeep,

check in the material master for that material whether Inspection types 05 or 06 is activated.

I think its not active,generally you will get this error if that inspection type is not active.

05 - Inspection for Other Good's Receipt.

06 - Inspection for returns from Customer.

Dear rajesh

I am getting the below error message while doing sales return through VL01N.

Material D018P114P6002 1200 cannot be used in inbound delivery because QM is active

Message no. L9528

Diagnosis

QM is active for material D018P114P6002 in plant 1200. As a result, the material cannot be used in an inbound delivery item because the item is relevant for picking and because WM is active for the item.

This process is not supported in the current release.

Procedure

Execute the putaway using a goods receipt posting with subsequent

putaway in the Warehouse Management system.

You need to have the WM folks look at this. I believe you have some outstanding Transfer Orders for the material. I.e. the WM people haven't finished their work.

The error seems to indicate that when it says:

"Execute the putaway using a goods receipt posting with subsequent putaway in the Warehouse Management system."

It almost sounds as if the return delivery has already bee created and the system is waiting for you to GR and put it away to the warehouse.

Hi,

Sandeep in ur earlier post u mentioned that u r unable to create return delivery after Qm Activation.

Can u pls tell waht u have done for Qm activation .

Weather u have activated inspection type 06 or 05
