Installation Requirements for WAS - Java Stack

Hello,

I would like to know what all needs to be installed/ prerequisites for WAS 6.40 to work in the following Scenario (including the components that need to be installed):

1. WAS 6.40 needs to communicate with WAS 6.20, CRM Direct and IVR.

2. Web Dynpro , Web Services and BAPI 's are going to be used for development.

Although there mite by ample of information on this network, I would be glad if someone could help with all the minute details.
