Hi,
I have a scenario where i have a B2B scenario where XI has to connect to another XI. The method to pass data is via IDOCs.
Does anyone have experience with a similiar scenario?

What is the buisness scenario you want to implement??
Generally in order to connect between XI and XI or XI and PCK you have to use the XI communication channel.
again , is there a buisness scenario involved? PO,RFQ....
Let;s take for example a PO scenario.
My customer want to expose the data via IDOCS.
If the Scenario is :
Your customer send a purchase order IDoc to you, and you send a confirmation for that purchse order for my opinion you should try this flow:
Customer side | Your side
-
| -
R3>XI-xi adapter>|->xi adapterXI-->IdocAdaper->R3
|
and the other way around for confirmation...
