URL of Config UI

Hi,

I installed the SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 SP5.

Following the documentation of SapNote 1057316 I also needed to deploy the Catalog Search UI & the config UI (MDMJAVAAPI05_2.sca & SRMMDMCAT20SP02P05.sca)

According to the note I can find those files on the installation CD of SRM-MDM.

I downloaded the latest version SP5 of this sofware and found those files under directories

MDM JAVA API\OSINDEP & SRM-MDM_Catalog_UI

On the forums I see many people talking about the URL

http://<J2EE_HOST>:<J2EEPORT>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~mdmsrmui/MDM_SRM_UI_App

If I execute this URL I get an error

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.sal.core.DispatcherException: The requested deployable object 'sap.com/tc~mdmsrmui' and application 'MDM_SRM_UI_App' are not deployed on the server. Please check the used URL for typos.

however

works fine

Did I forget something?

Moreover in the directory where I found the MDMJAVAAPI05_2.sca there are several other zipfiles.

MDM4J_Ver5.5.42.107.zip

MDMJavaAPI_Ver5.5.42.107.zip

I don't find any information on this however. They contain html files and jar files.

If someone could provide me some useful info on this.

The correct URL is

http://<J2EE_HOST>:<J2EEPORT>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?sap-locale=EN&HOOK_URL=&mask=&namedSearch=&username=Ma... of that user>&catalog=<repositoryname>&server=<repositoryserverhost>&datalanguage=EN
