Material for rebate settelement

How can I set the “Material for rebate settlement” in customizing?

Hi Javed

Create the Material as usual, say FERT, in MM01. In the Sales: Sales Org2 Tab, set the value in the field, "Volume Rebate Group" to 01-Maximum Rebate. This Material can then be used as material for Settlement in the Rebate Agreement.

Is there any way to automatically populate "material for rebate settlement" whenever I am creating a rebate agreement/conditions.

Hi

The Material for settlement is used for those Agreements that are not Material-based. You need to specifically select the Material for Settlement in case of Agreement of type 0003 (Customer-based). If your Rebate Agreement is 0001 or 0002 types, you need not select the Material for settlement.
