Is it possible to install SAP on Windows Vista Operationg system. I want to install 4.7 ides version.

Windows Vista is Client OS,

SAP Strongly recommend to go for SERVER OS.

You can dual boot your system.

Hi,

Please donot install SAP on a dual boot system especially having Windows Vista and Windows XP/2k3.

This will create a problem with the dll's. Its a known problem as a Microsoft Bug. Please install SAP only on Windows server for better performance.

What you can do is:

Install vmware (vmserver) on your vista

and in your vmware image you install windows 2003 server (or another server version)

And on that you can install your sap ides

I think this is the only way to do it
