Unable to create a new message in Service Desk

I am unable to create a new message in Service Desk. I performed following steps to create a new message:-

Login into application -> Tools -> Solution manager -> Solution1 -> Service Desk -> Messages -> New

I get the following error – Call of API for IBase contains errors.

Does anyone has any idea what is causing this error?

Good day,

Had the same error and solved it by doing the following;

Go to t/code DNO_CUST01 and double click on SFL1 and make sure "number range" is 01 and "action profile" is SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO.

Your number range interval in t/code CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE should be consistant with NR details in t/code DNO_NOTIF (check note: 498984 to set it up)

I also tried creating a new mesaage following this approach:-

Login into application -> Help -> Create Support Message

I get the following error in this case - Because of error 513 no message was created in Support Desk System

Can anyone please tell what is causing this error?
