Error in Sales Return with ref to Billing doc

Hi Friends,

We are trying to process sales return with reference to billing document and getting following error -

'Copying from Sales document/Billing document to RE not supported'

Do we need to do some setting in SPRO, if yes, pl let me know the steps to be followed.

Hiya

You are getting the following error because copy control is not maintained for the same. Go to VTFA, select your order type and billing type and go to item category.

Here maintain the following requirements by selecting billing type and sale document type and double click blue lens on top.

For Item Category

Data VBRK/VBRP 002

Billing Quantity A

Pos/neg.quantity +

Pricing Type D

Maintain copy control setting from Billing doc(F2/F1) to Sales doc(RE)(Tcode - VTAF).
