Reg SID in installing XI

Hi

Could you please help me out , if You know!

When installing the ABAP Database the SID of the SQL default database should be different the ABAP database SID or should be same ?

Hi Rambarki,

Not sure if this helps but we just installed xi3.0 sp12 with oracle 9.2 on aix5.3. We kept the sid the same for ABAP, Database and Java.

But i did not come across the term SQL Default Database...so this may be of no help to you.

thank u ..Useful info from u..and i solved this problem.

SQL datbase will take default SID which is different than ABAP SID..
