In BW3.5
If an InfoObject is made authorization relevant you can specify for which infoProvider it needs to be authorization relevant
If i read information about BW7.0 this is changed to:
If an InfoObject is made authorization relevant it is authorization Relevant for every InfoProvider in which it exists.
This means that a check should be created for users to every infoprovider in which the InfoObject exists
Can anybody tell me if in BW 7.0 there is a possibility to make an InfoObject authorization relevant only for a specific infoProvider ?
IF not can anybody tell me why SAP made this change ?
Thanks in advance,
Vincent Willems
Hi Vincent,
I believe in BI7, when you create an analysis authorisation identifying the authorization relevent InfoObject, you should also include 3 special characterisitcs.
One of these characteristics is 0TCAIPROV whereby you can limit the authorisation to a specific InfoProvider.

Mark.
