File : End line

Hi all,

I am doing file to file transfer using ftp i.e without IR .

The source file has 3 lines .

i am able to transfer file .

when i opened the traget file , it is showing 4 lines .

i.e the 2 line data is coming in 2 lines .

why is endline not working for 2 line.

i gave all as text proprties in sender and receiver .

plz guide me to solve this problem .

Hi

use the following parameters in the content conversion

ur field.fieldFixedLengths = (field lengths) e.g. 1, 4, 7

urfield.fixedLengthTooShortHandling=ignore

urfield.endSeperator='nl'

hi,

It depends upon the file content convertion parameters that u have given in the configuration of communication channels..i think the error will be in the parameter "Field End seperator".. go through this link u can easily solve ur problem..
