Hi gurus

I am newly entered into the solution manger configuration. Could any one explain me how solution manager will work. In whihc areas we have to concentrate. How to install solution manger. How supporting issues solved by solution manager. could any one help me with screen shots it will be very help ful for me. Urgent please solve this problmes

Hi,

The SAP Solution manager is the implementation tool given by SAP for the projects to be followed the ASAP Methodology priour to the solution manager.with solutiom manager you can use for.

you need to set up the solution manager helpdesk functionality for the support issues to process from solution manager

Support projects

implementation project

upgrade project

Global rollout project useing global templates

with solution manager you can support with the help of helpdesk functionality for the support issues for the production support aspects.

you can connect the sattelite systems to to the dev system where you can access the system with cental system .

1 proj prepration

2 blue print

3 realisation phase

4 Final prepration

5 go live and support phase

you can generate the blueprint doc useing solar 01 transaction and config doc useing solar 02 transaction codes. the solution manager has the roadmaps to use the templates are avalible once you install the solmanager in the seperate system to use.

Hi

You can configure the solution manager by installing in seperate system useing the support packs for 4.0 and connect the sol manager system to the satellite systems by creating the RFC destination.

you can use Solar 01 transaction and solar 02 for selecting the roadmaps from the solution manager.the satellite systems needs to be connected useing the transaction sm59 and you and test the remote connectivity between the solution manager system to the satellite systems.
