Migration Sapdb to Maxdb

Hello ,

How to migrate Sapdb 7.4 backup to a new base in Maxdb 7.6 (restore ), which is on another server? I can not find documentation ...

Hi there,

probably the best thing would be:

- upgrade the database to 7.6 on the server it's running on right now.

- perform a system copy via backup/restore

For the upgrade itself you may look into the documentation already mentioned by Markus Döhr.

In addtion you should have a look into the MaxDB documentation:
