Hello colleagues,
When i try to start the JSPM it is failing to initialize with the following error.

Use the information provided to trouble-shoot the problem. There might be an OSS note providing a solution to this problem. Search for OSS notes with the following search terms:

ORA-12519, TNS:no appropriate service handler found
The Connection descriptor used by the client was:

Why is this listener problem occuring?

Hi Nagaraj,
I think you are updating the java stack completely, or you are deploying only the jspm component. I think you should first upload the jspm to current level and then start uploading the stack completely.Also make sure that what are the components present in your system and then place only the required files, Can you try re deploying them once again.
By restaring the java system.

This is strange, the JSPM works fine now.I haven't updated anything. The initialization error also disappered.

Thanks a lot for the reply.I have done the same,copied the latest JSPM patch to the EPS/in and started the JSPM.
It started the deployment,however the deployment failed with the following error.
could not update the time SDM server to wait J2EE server to start during the deployment. COuld not stop SDM server. Cannot execute Java process for stopSDM with parametrs 50018. Return code condition success evaluated to false for process java.exe for action ACTION_STOP.
COuld you pleas help me here.

Hi Nagaraj,
If your java stack is an add-in then just paste the .sca files in usr/sap/trans/eps/in directory and then try to start the jspm.
Also make sure that you have logged in using <sid>adm and ur sdm password is correct.

Check whether DB and listner is up and running. Also check the parameter parallel_max_servers , it might be set to too small
