Hi
as the data is coming in the XML format from the MDM system then u have to create the data type in XI that will be used to hold the data coming form the MDM system.
u need not to import any thing.
u also have to configure the complete scenario in XI.
Thanks
Rinku

Since your scenario is MDM>XI>R/3
You have syndicate (Distribute) master data from MDM Server by manually / Automatically by using Syndicator/Syndication Server.
Hence your XI content is now available in Ready Folder of Outbound Folder of your MDM Server.
Before Distributing data from MDM you have to perform mapping correctly.

Shiva,
Yes you can create XSD file for MDM repository and can import it in XI in external definition and you dont need to create any source structure in XI.
Use this tool to create xsd and import it in external files of XI.
Rewards if helpful.

Hi,
There is no need to import XI content, instead as it is in xml u create a strcturre in XI and we can directly import the data by routing to its path and the remaining things are same for further clarification see the below links..
Go throguh the weblog may be u get the idea.

Hi shiva,
I am not getting you fully. But let me explain my points from my understanding.
I worked in similar scenario but data floe from various r/3 to MDM.
Here i didn't import any MDM contents to XI. I just integrated the system through XI. So there is not necessary to import any contents into XI.

Vijay
