DDIC login fails

Hi,

i have created a new client (300). I have restarted the SAP* and DDIC passwords changing the login / mo_automatic_user_sapstar parameter to 0 and restarting the SAP instance from sapmmc.

Now i can login with SAP* (password pass), but i can't login as DDIC. I have tried the sapadm password but it doesn't work.

Can anyone give me a suggestion. Thanks?

Hi Fina,

First your check in SU01 how many users are in Client 300?

DDIC is delivered in standard clients 000 and 001 with a standard password.

When you create a new client (e.g. 300) and login with SAP, you first need to create a user master record for DDIC (in SU01) with a password before you can logon as DDIC in that client. You should do the same for SAP.

A question to you: What do you need a DDIC user for in client 300?

I am installing ECC 6.0. And at the end while DDIC test login is about to happen it failed. Error " Plese check the DDIC password".

I need help on this.
