How to configure Bom except cs01. my mean, is there other back configuration for bill of materail.

hi,

for creating bom the prerequistes are

1. create material for raw materials or semi finished materials that make up the final finished product with item category group as NORM

2. create the finished product in Material master with the item category group as ERLA(for header level pricing) / LUMF(for item level pricing)

3. do item category determination

sales doc type / item cat group/usage/ higher level item/item category

OR/ERLA/ / /TAQ

OR/NORM/ /TAQ/TAN

4. goto CS01 create BOM.

hi,

you need to maintian the item cat group either ERLA(Pricing at Main item level) or LUMF(Pricing at item level). Maintain the required item cat det settings at VOV4. for the main item cat at VOV7 ensure the structure scope field is B to ensure BOM explosion at the various levels. Create the required materials in MM01 ie main item and its components. Link all of them with CS01, usage 5 - SD.

Can you please let me know what exact is your requirement and why you want that?? For information, the standard TCode to assign BOMs to a header material is CS01.
