Setup of BW on Netweaver 7 ABAP and Java trial - VMWare Edition

I am trying to run BW on NW7 trail VMWare edition (SUSE Linux). Built in clients include 000 and 001. When I try to run RSA1 logged in with SAP* on 000 it says that system N4S client 000 has no logical name and gives two options; create and assign. When I try create it gives a message that no changes for user SAP* allowed. When I try assign it tells me there are no logical systems available. With client 001(logged in as SAP*) RSA1 it gives a message that you can only work in client 000. I searched the net and came up with a tutorial: http://howtoforge.com/sap_netweaver_2004_suse_9.3_p5

First step is to create client 001. However since client 001 already exists I tried to create 002. It gets saved, but when I try to go to the next step and login with SAP* on client 002 it doesn't log in and tells me password/login wrong. Can someone please help as I need to set this up urgently. try this:

use client 001 and login with SAP*

go into transaction SU01 and copy SAP* to any name you want

logout!

login again into client 001 with that new user you created.
