MDM Oracle Issue

HI xperts,

I am trying to create repository on oracle DB.

I installed oracle 9.2 (software only) and created a Database and configured the Listeners and net service name.

Oracle db name: MDM

Service Name: MDM

Listener Name: NewListener

When i tried to create repository with system user and its password i got error initializing Database engine.

I have configured all settings properly

But still getting the error help me resolve this

Hi Vijay,

This error occurs due to the reason :

1) The connectivity between the DB and MDM can not be established.

In this case just first check out the configuraton .

after that if it's fine just restart the Oracle DB server and restart the listener.

This should work.

It has worked for me.
