Creating client before SGEN

Hi Folks,

I just created a new system and I want to know whether I can Create a new client copy and do some post installation with setting up the landscape in solution manager before doing SGEN transaction. Whether SGEN will create any problem after I did the system landscape?

Hi,

You can definitly run SGEN transaction after that, that should not be problem because, the transaction always run to re-generate all SAP programs after System Upgrade, applying support packs or a kernel upgrade.

As far as i know you can proceed and SGEN should not create any problem.
