AS400 Printing - Output Spooled Files

I am looking for a way to control the name of the Spooled File that is created in the AS400 Print Queue. Currently it comes out as QSYSPRT. This seems to be a default value. I have the output device (printer) set up using access method C. Can anyone assist me on this?

I tend to have my clients or at least push them in the direction to use the Windows side for printing off the 400 using an LPD. RPM is the best I've found, pretty solid and has been around for about 10 years. There is an as400 printing site you can find the software at their [AS400 Printing|http://www.as400tcpipprinting.com] site. Hopefully you'll find what you need there.

We recommend people doing it this way because there is minimal programming modifications on the 400 side if you install RPM on the Windows PC. Plus, the new version looks like you can easily email and convert your AS400 print files to PDF.
