Switched our SAP R/3 4.70 system to a new server. Now the F.21 report prints slow on HP4350 printer 2 hours for 50 page report, we think its a driver problem. Also tried it on some color printers like Dell 5100 and it truncates the lines of F.21, year and page number are truncated.
what is "Host Spool Access Method" chosen in SPAD?
if method if "C". then, it may be using the wrong driver at Windows level. check which one you were using on other server. Were you using the Microsoft or HP driver?
"Host Spool Access Method" chosen in SPAD is C. Doesn't appear to be using the same driver as the old server, old server has HP PS 6 new server has HP PCL 5 driver. Thanks, just wanted to make sure the driver was the right direction to go to fix this. Need it to work on HP4350, tried F.21 report on a couple of color printers like Dell 5100 on the new server and it truncated the lines about 4 char. probably also a driver issue.
