go to CMS and in that Transport Studio and you will find all the activities which you checked in under Assemble .you need to assemble them.once you assemble them they will be moved to test tab.there you need to import them to see the changes in the QA.

Hi Bala Duwuri,

Thanks for the input.

Since am new to this activity I am not able to understand your flow.................

Right Now I have released the webdynpro openactivities..........

After what to do ? Please give me step by step approach....

In my project SLD is defined as local and its currently located in dev server and also it has a connection with QA.

I am wondering If I move the object to QA successfully?

How can I move the same pobject to production if the production don't have connection to SLD?

Please correct me If am wrong anywhere? and Also provide me the step by step approach for transferring WD developments from one server to other..............

Looking forward to hear from you soon

Thanks in Advance,

Dharani

Just to summarize,

1. when you create a new activity, its open and contains all the changes and changes are still in your workspace.

2. now in the open activities tab, you need to check in and activate, so that the changes get reflected in the DTR and changed version of the application gets deployed to the development box.

3. now in the transport view tab,

you will see all the checked in activities under first node,

select all the activities and right click and release.

4. open CMS.

http://<HostName>:<Port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms

4.in the tab Consolidation, you should see your released activities.

select all and import.

Now your application is in staging

5. in the tab 'Assembly'

you will see your imported activities.

select & assemble components, which will transport content to approval..

Now your application is in production.

*Make sure your dev, staging & production systems are defined under track in CMS --> Landscape Configurator --> Runtime Systems

Hi,

Best practise is to transfer your cons track to the production.
