Default storage Category

Hi

In CV01n while I am going to Check in the docs system gives me options of storage locations but I want to make it default as DMS_C1_ST for any document.How to achieve this ?

I put a tick on Use Kpro in document type but when I remove it system stores the documnet in Storage category SAPSYSTEM where it get stored ?

Document which are updated in CV01N How we can confirm there storage location in server ?

Pl suggest.

Hi,

the best way to achieve this behavior is to create a special profile in DMS customizing.

You can create a profile for the Workstation Applications and define a specific storage category for them. This will also enable you to determine the storage category automatically. You can define this

in the DMS customizing (SPRO) under 'General Data' - 'Define Profile'.

Further there is the possibility to implement an own individual system logic by

using BADI DOCUMENT_STORAGE01.
