Target field while creating transport request

Hi Friends,

The target field in the window for creating a transport request earlier used to pick up the value by default.

However, after OS DB migration, the users have to manually put the value of the transport group.

Does anyone have any idea why this takes place?

It look like something wrong in the STMS configuration,re-create the transport routes,defenitly it will work.

Thank you very much for the reply.

But will re-creating the transport routes impact the working of the 'live' production system while the users are logged on? Or will the transports be affected?

Or is it recomended to carry this out when no users are working in the system?

It will not affect the working users(since there is no target defined now),you can do it online.

Go to Tcode STMS ->Overview -> Transports Routes (go to change mode) -> Select the Transport Routes & Delete

Then Edit->Add transport Route (add both the routes) and save.

You might receive some messages for the existing transport request,you can ignore that,
