SMS ALERT FOR FILE FAILURE

Hi All,

Most of the time the file prosessed in XI with high priority, so any processing error i got a mail but i need to implement the SMS alert for this, So as for quick responce. So what is the best way i can achive that.

I have read most of the forum but this seems that i have to be a member for sending the mail as SMS, but is there any way i can achive this with free just by cnfiguring anythings.???

Hi,

You could configure the ALERT notification by mail, SMS or by FAX.

As per the link http://www.smscountry.com/Email2SMS.asp

you could send the SMS via mail. and that could be possible with Mail adapter.

With Mail adapter you need to setup a mail ID as given in the above link, that will be specific to your mobile network and number. and you will get SMS.

Hi,

First of all u have to check is there any service providers are configured to send SMS from the XI server.

i think there is no free providers to utilze such an option.
