Profile generation

Guys,

I created a Role and generated the profile using PFCG, everything is in green in Authorization tab but when I tried to assign the role to a user using SU01 I am getting error message saying Role ZXX does not exist in the system.

Can some one tell me if I missed anything?

Are you using CUA?

If you are using CUA then you will need to perform a text compare before you can assign the role

Hi,

You can use transaction su02 to look if the generated profile exist. You find the name of the profile at the authorization tab in the pfcg.

CUA is different cook, then you have to act as said before.

Alex, Thank you so much...Yes I was using CUA System and I was able to resolve the issue after doing the Text comparison.

You only get it in CUA central system and can find it in SU01 in the roles tab if I remember correctly. If you don't have CUA you won't see it (or need it)
