Dear all,

is there any possibility to deliver an item with pick quantity less than or greater than order quantity?If yes pls, let me know.

Hi,

Its possible to deliver the qty different with the order qty..

Say sales order is created for 100 Kg..

you can deliver 110 kg also... for this you need to maintain the delivery item category as it allows more than an order qty.. T Code : 0VLP...

hi aditya,

sap allows you to deliver qty less than or more than the order qty in normal conditions. Only thing the pick qty should always be equal to the delivery qty to proceed further doing PGI.

But however its important to see from a business point of view why this situtaion would occur. Like you can only deliver less than order qty if complete stock is not available. say customer orders 10 and you have only 6 today and four would be available after 2 days, then you make deliveries accordingly. And generally we dont prefer to send more qty than whats ordered, even if required to increas the qty its better to make the qty at the order level also to maintain a proper track. To check over delivery you can goto 0VLP and set the over delivrey tolerance field tot the required message, i think b or c.

Dear Aditya,

We can deliver an item with pick quantity less than or greater than order quantity. For that, we have to maintain settings in Transaction 0VLP- maintain delivery item catagory.

Maintain below data in your delivery item category

Check minimum qty A Note about situation or No dialog

Check over delivery A Note about situation or No dialog

We can maintain minimum quantity in Customer master data (sale area data -Shipping tab page) & material master data (sale org data1 view)

hi,

i think this possiable to manual changes. if the delivery qty less than the order will be deliver partially. if the delivery qty greater than the order qty the delivery qty wil be update LIS.

Both r possiable changes in vl01n trascation.if u do the partial it must be allow the ur customer master.this control changed in sales area tap page shipping in the CMR.If u do more than delivery qty it must be some setting in item catageries. (once better to check both order related/ delivery related

item catageries).
