Error creating activity on notification After Sync is done

Hi!

I would like to be clear about diference between Synchronizaction and Reset Client.

Sync: I copy data from PDA to the backend, I erase old data on PDAs, I copy new data from backend to the Client

Reset: I clear everything on the Client

I do have the following problem:

1. I rest the client

2. I do Sync

3. I create a new activity on a notification and save. At this point everything works fine.

4. I do Sync again.

5. I do check everything on the backend and everything looks fine.

6. If I need to create a new activity on any notification. I do get the following error:

com.sap.mbs.core.api.BOException:Failed inserting MAM0101Item060: com.sap.mbs.core.api.BOException:Failedwriting to row:com.sap.ip.me.api.smartsync.ModificationNotAllowedException: The data is inconsitent please reset the client data to ensure consistency

7.If I reset the client I got a good result. It does not look normal to me.

What do you think about it ??

Hi Xiomara,

the ModificationNotAllowedException can have several reasons. Please try the complete scenario again with the unmodified MEREPMETA.XML file. Bsased on that result we will see if it was the change file or something else.
