Hi,
I would like to know few points about WBS BOM transfer from Material BOM.
1. I have multi level Material BOM for which i need to create project specific WBS BOM. But all the sub assembly Material BOMs also should be converted to WBS BOM automatically.
For Ex. For BOM Header Mat01, I have a material BOM as follows,
Mat01-> Mat1.1-> Mat 1.1.1, Mat 1.1.2, Mat 1.1.3.
Mat1.2---> Mat 1.2.1, Mat 1.2.2, Mat 1.2.3
Mat1.3---> Mat 1.3.1, mat 1.3.2, Mat 1.3.3
Mat1.4
My WBS Element no is P-0000-001.
I need WBS BOM should be created automatically for all the subassemblies like Mat1.1, Mat1.2, when i create WBS BOM for Header Mat01.
Is it possible?

Hi Prasanna,
While transferring the Bill of Material to the project thru CN33, in selection parameter , you can tick ''Multilevel'' indicator. This indicator is used to specify that the multi-level bill of material for the assignemet is exploded level by level.
Hope this helps you.

Dear Amit,
Thank you for your prompt reply. As we know that this can be controlled at project level, for this scenario it has to be controlled at WBS BOM level. The requirement is Material BOM should not be used at any level as any change in matl BOM will affect all WBS BOMs.
One Matl BOM will have multiple WBS BOMs. Any change in Matl BOM should not affect any WBS BOM.
Hope i have clarified my stand.

Hi shrikant,
Thanks for your reply. I am using CS74 only but when i am creating WBS BOM using CS74, System will not copy all the material BOMs(Sub assembly) to WBS BOM. We need to select the Material BOM (Sub assy) for which we need to create the WBS BOM.
When i am creating WBS BOm using CS74 by copying from Material BOM, system should copy all the sub assy BOM to WBS BOM.
Hope it is understood.
Prasanna
