How to transport IDoc metadata from Dev Repository to QA?

Hi Guys!

I moved repository objects from dev to qa, but I have problems in qa in displaying the mapping. It says, that I don't have the source message (IDoc mesage in the software component). Whicj is truth. But how to transport this metadata? (Imported IDocs)? I tried it and nothing worked for me. Or do I have to read this metadata from QA repository?

Olian,

Yes the error is true. You need to export the IDOC strcuture too(in order to do the Test mapping in QA).

- Right click on any namespace and say Export Objects.

- Now choose your Transport Mode, Continue

- In Object Set, choose Individual Objects

- Click Help Icon, Choose Type as IDOC

- Now Select your IDOC's and Click OK and Finish the transport.

Now import into QA using CMS or File.

Hi,

While Transporting the objects either by File system or by CMs you need to include the Imported objects in the list. If you have not included then it will not be reflected in Q.

Transport the Inmported objects fo SWC and then import it in Q
