** SMQR - Scheduler Status 'Wait' - Queus increased

Hi Friends,

I have increased 'dialog' work process in our system, parameter rdisp/wp_no_dia = 20. From 12 we have increased to 20.

While we check this effect in the tcode 'SMQR', schedule status still shows 'Wait' state. Why ....?

One more thing, I increased outbound queuse EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL = 9 (From 4) also . But, still the messages are processed in old queues. (TCode : SMQ2) New messages are also sent to old queues not new queue. Why ...?

Whether any server restart is required ...? (In SAP help, restart is not mentioned at any places)

hi,

Did you register the queues and activated them? Also check the registered destinations in SMQS.That will show you the destinations with a list of connections.

XBT* queues are already registered . After increase of queus using EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL , again deregister and register is required ...?

Yes offcourse you need to restart the server.
