Hi,

The following four RFC'S are should be in success.

AI_DIRECTORY

AI_RUNTIME

LCRSAPRFC

SAPSLDAPI

any one of the above rfc connection is not working..it won't work your scenario successfully.

The four RFC connections are related to our XI components.

Regards,

Venu.

Depend on what your scenario is, some RFCs are must have. Some will depends on your scenario:

e.g. If you used ABAP proxy, then, the relative RFC should have been maintained:

SAPAPICUST - Connection to SLD

SAPSLDAPI - Functionality for SLD

LCRSAPRFC - Get Exchange Profile data

Cheers

HI

1.AI_DIRECTORY

Points from the Integration Server to the Integration Builder(used to refresh the runtime cache).

2.AI_RUNTIME

Points from the Integration Server to the mapping runtime(used for the mapping runtime, value mapping, and the exchange profile).

3.SAPSLDAPI

this template, you create the required connections between the ABAP Engine of CEN and the administrative SLD. These are:

● The RFC connection SAPSLDAPI; an appropriate connection is also created in the SLD’s J2EE Engine for this.

● The access data for the SLD in transaction SLDAPICUST in the ABAP stack of CEN.

4.LCRSAPRFC

The SLD contains configuration data that is important for both the Integration Server and for proxy systems. The test checks the availability of this data. It comprises the following individual tests, which are performed one after the other:

• Test the connection to the SLD

This test checks whether the predefined destination LCRSAPRFC exists, whether it is of the correct type, and whether the target address can be reached using HTTP. The test then checks whether the address for the LCR server is specified.

• Test whether data can be read successfully from the SLD

This test attempts to read the number of business systems defined in the SLD. If this attempt fails, the test is considered to have been unsuccessful. If no business systems are found, the system gives a corresponding warning.

LCRSAPRFC,SAPSLDAPI are the RFC DESTINATIONS which we need to maintain while doing PROXY communication.

these are maintained as program ids in the RFC engine settings of the visual administrator

SLDAPICUST is used to check the connection between the SLD and the I.E
