Access IDES Remotely

Hi,

I have Installed IDES 4.7 in my PC at home. is it Possible to access that PC/ SAP Remotely?

i dont wanna spend money on VPN device or something. is there a way to access SAP Remotely without a VPN device?

i Have Internet connectivity also.

Plz let me know the things clearly.

hi siva,

its very easy...

Connect ur IDES PC to internet, GET its Global IP Adress (cmd ipconfig/all) and eable Remote destop on the IDES PC...

Now use this IP adress from remote PC to connect to this IDES Server...after connecting to internet

You can also simply use this IP in SAP GUI..
