Purchase Requisition from R/3 to SRM

Hi

I have a requirement

Preqs which include Material Master are required to be send to SRM to perform the Bidding Process. Currently only Material Short description is available in SRM. In order to suffiently describe the Material the Material Classification data are required to be available in the Bid Invitation form.

How can we achieve this .

In erference to your query, what do you mean by P.Reqs with Material Master ??

What exactly you want to achieve using PDP scenario ??

Do you want to create custom fields in Purchase Requisition and send the same to SRM ??

Please explain you requirement clearly in order to help you further.

Yes, its Plandriven procurement scenario where i am sending Purchase Requistion from R/3 to SRM.

Right now it is material description (short text) available on Bid invitation form.

My requirement is Material Classification data maintained in R/3 ( MM01, MM03) to be seen on bid invitation form.

I hope now it is clear.

Hi,

As far as i know, it is not possible in the standard to display MM01, MM02... ECC transaction in SRM screens.

For this, you will have to modify the standard.

Sorry, you haven't understood my requirement.

I don't want to display MM02, MM03 in SRM screens.

I want Material classification data to be available on Bid invitation smart form.

This material classification data is maintained in R/3.

All material information handled by SRM is maintained in transaction COMMPR01.

No material classification here.

Write a RFC FM and get the details.

Hi Ashish,

Copy the standard smartform for Bid Invitation (BBP_BID_INVITATION) and create a custom smartform in which you make an RFC call passing the material number and get the classification data and display it in the Bid Invitation form.

Attach the new custom form using Badi BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF, so that the new form is called instead of the standard smartform.

This was resolved by custom smartform and badi development.
