if configured LEAN WHMS / WHMS where we can maintain

stocks

either at storage location level

or

either at storage bin level.

if we want to maintain stocks at storage bin level where is the

settings in SPRO.

plz help me on this

Hi,

Warehouse management is a more granular level than Inventory Management. So you will maintain stocks BOTH in storage locations and in bins. A GR for a PO will be done with movement type 101 in IM. This will update avaible quantity in storage locations for e.g. MRP and valuation. A Transfer order is created to put the same quantity in the WM bin. This controls the physical placement in the warehouse and takes care of FIFO etc.
