Is there a way to use SSH in PI , is there any open source adapter available?

What can be be the best method to incorporate a FTP file transfer to XI box using SSH?

The Seeburger SFTP Adapter will do what you are looking for.

There is no direct way to use SSH in PI. However u may use the Seeburger adapter for that. Open source adapter wont be available. The option could be developing ur own adapter.

An alternative could be to use java proxy wherein u may use free java libraries for SFTP (may b searched on internet)
