Product Category Deletion from SRM

Hello,

I have requriement to delete a product category from SRM which was replicated from SAP R/3. We want to delete the same from SRM but not from SAP R/3. Is this possible? If so how?

You can delete it straight in transaction Comm_heirarchy just be in change mode selct the product category select delete accept the warning message and it will delete the category.

Hi,

You will use Program COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_SINGLE to delete single or COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_ALL to delete all.

However,before you execute any of these programs,you have to create a correct entry in table COMC_PR_TOOL_REG in SE16 with the foll details:

e.g.

PROGRAM_NAME -->COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_SINGLE

USER_NAME -->ABC

EXEC_DATE -->10.03.2008
